TINY AND LITTLE MISS DOGWOOD QUEEN APPLICATION
Rules & Regulation for Tiny Miss- Little Miss Dogwood Queen Contest
All contestants must reside in Orleans if homeschooled or attend Orleans Elementary School.
All contestants must enter the appropriate age category:
A) Tiny Miss Dogwood – 5 years of age or in Kindergarten
(Tiny Miss contestants may not have participated in the Baby Contest)
B) Little Miss Petal – Grades 1 & 2
C) Little Miss Blossom – Grades 3 & 4
D) Little Miss Dogwood – Grades 5 & 6
All contestants must have age appropriate attire. Makeup is not recommended, but will be acceptable in moderation and age appropriate.
Important Dates & Information
Friday, March 29th, 2024 (GOOD FRIDAY) All forms and fees are due. – IF THE PARTICIPANT’S NAME IS NOT TURNED IN BY THIS DATE, THEIR NAME WILL NOT BE LISTED ON THE PROGRAM PRINTED FOR THE NIGHT OF THE EVENT.
All contestants, Tiny Miss through Queen divisions, will compete on the same day, Saturday April 20th. Interviews will be during the day and the queen contest will start at 5:00. This being said, all contestants will need to be 10 minutes early for their interview to help assure we are on time for the day. Scheduled time will be texted to you after receiving the application and entry fee. If a contestant is late for an interview, that contestant will be moved until the end of interviews and IF time permits they will be interviewed by the judges after all other contestants.
All contestants please enter through the cafeteria door and report to the cafeteria. Parents must wait in the cafeteria for contestants to get done. No contestants, parents, or family will be allowed in the gymnasium as it will be ready for the evening event. Assigned people will be present to help each age division to their interview rooms.
Admission is $2.00 at the door. All attendees must purchase a ticket. This money goes back to the Town of Orleans for hosting our Orleans Dogwood Festival.
All contestants will be introduced and walk the stage (there is no runway this year).
Only Little Miss Dogwood, Jr. Miss & Queen Contestants will be asked an on-stage question.
A Queen and a court of a minimum of 2 princesses will be chosen in each category based on the judges’ scores. All judge’s decisions are final, and we ask that you are respectful of their decision.

You can email your entry form to ancowan1@hotmail.com and send payment via PayPal if that is easier for you. Ashley will reply to your contact information once payment is confirmed/received. Please put a note on the payment with your child’s name.
Please make checks payable to the Orleans Chamber of Commerce.
All entry forms and fees MUST be in by Friday March 29th (GOOD FRIDAY).
This form is being posted in January 2024. Due dates are strict due to the time needed to prepare properly. Thank you in advance for your promptness and understanding.
