TINY AND LITTLE MISS DOGWOOD QUEEN APPLICATION<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Rules & Regulation for Tiny Miss- Little Miss Dogwood Queen Contest<\/strong><\/h3>\n

All contestants must reside in Orleans if homeschooled or attend Orleans Elementary School.\u00a0 If your child is enrolled in a school other than Orleans School system, they are not qualified for this contest.<\/p>\n

All contestants must enter the appropriate age category:<\/p>\n

A) Tiny Miss Dogwood \u2013 5 years of age or in Kindergarten<\/p>\n

B) Little Miss Petal \u2013 Grades 1 & 2<\/p>\n

C) Little Miss Blossom \u2013 Grades 3 & 4<\/p>\n

D) Little Miss Dogwood \u2013 Grades 5 & 6<\/p>\n

All contestants must have age appropriate attire. Makeup is not recommended, but will be acceptable in moderation and age appropriate.<\/p>\n

Important Dates & Information<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Friday, March 20th, 2026.\u00a0 <\/strong>All forms and fees are due.<\/strong> (This is the Friday of Spring Break!)<\/p>\n

All contestants, Tiny Miss through Queen divisions, will compete on the same day, Saturday April 18th @ 1:00pm. Interviews will be before that morning and finished before 12:00 pm so the judges can break before the contest.<\/p>\n

All contestants will need to be 10 minutes early for their interview to help assure we are on time for the day. A scheduled time will be texted to you after receiving the application and entry fee.\u00a0 If a\u00a0 contestant is late for an interview, that contestant will be moved until the end of interviews and IF time permits they will be interviewed by the judges after all other contestants.\u00a0 PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE!!<\/strong><\/p>\n

All contestants please enter through the cafeteria door and report to the cafeteria.\u00a0 Parents must wait in the cafeteria for contestants to get done.\u00a0 No contestants, parents, or family will be allowed in the gymnasium as it will be ready for the evening event.\u00a0 Assigned people will be present to help each age division to their interview rooms.\u00a0\u00a0PLEASE DO NOT GO BACK INTO THE INTERVIEW AREA WITH YOUR CHILD!!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Admission is $2.00 at the door and the door WILL NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC UNTIL 12:30 PM.\u00a0 There will be no reserved seating prior to the event.\u00a0 All attendees must purchase a ticket.\u00a0 This money goes back to the Town of Orleans for hosting our Orleans Dogwood Festival.<\/p>\n

All contestants will be introduced and walk the stage.<\/p>\n

Only Little Miss Dogwood, Jr. Miss & Queen Contestants will be asked an on-stage question.<\/p>\n

A Queen and a court of a minimum of 2 princesses will be chosen in each category based on the judges’ scores. All judge’s decisions are final, and we ask that you are respectful of their decision.<\/p>\n

Please make checks payable to the Orleans Chamber of Commerce.<\/p>\n

All entry forms and fees MUST be in by Friday March 20th (THIS IS THE FRIDAY OF SPRING BREAK).<\/strong><\/p>\n
